The Board

The Pickaquoy Centre Trust was set up in 1999 to manage The Pickaquoy Centre on behalf of Orkney Islands Council (OIC).

At the heart of everything we do is our commitment to making our community healthier and happier. As a charitable trust, all of our profits are reinvested into the services we provide for both residents and visitors.

We are dedicated to helping people stay active, and strongly believe that activity and sport have a hugely positive impact on physical health and wellbeing. In addition, we aim to offer a varied arts and cultural programme to enrich people’s lives, offering connection and enhancing creativity.

Check out this video that helps explain why we do what we do.
