When you're new to yoga, it can be difficult to know where to start. That's why we are offering a six week beginners yoga class led by yoga instructor, Gavin Cullen.
About the class:
Over the six weeks, Gavin will gradually build up a foundation of postures that will enable you to gain an understanding of what a yoga practice entails. The course will cater for anyone who does not feel confident to go along to an existing yoga class, or anyone wanting to refresh their understanding of Hatha Yoga through a 'beginners mind'. The sessions will take the form of a workshop and be paced to ensure that everyone feels the benefits of the yoga.
About the instructor:
Gavin has taught yoga since 1992 and for the last twenty years has been a student of the internationally renown yoga teacher, Dona Holleman. Gavin also teaches Centred Yoga every Wednesday (1000-1100) and Friday (1730-1830) here at Picky.
Dates: Wednesdays, 4 September - 9 October
Time: 1900 - 2015
Cost: £35 for full block
Space is limited. Book at reception or phone 01856 879900.
What our customers say:
"I had never been to a yoga class before so wasn’t sure what to expect. Gavin was such a great instructor. He explained each exercise thoroughly and was very approachable and patient throughout the block. The classes helped me understand how to properly hold each pose, and then gradually develop them into more advanced moves. This is a workshop I would highly recommend to anyone that would like to try yoga as a beginner."
